What We Do

We provide Person Centred Focussed Outcome Care and Support to adults, particularly those with mental health needs within their own homes.  The service we provide is completely flexible and responsive ideally on an agreed and planned basis by all who are important to the individual.  Next Stage recognises that things don’t always go to plan and life can be difficult and chaotic, this is where we function extremely well ensuring the safety and welfare of Service Users is upheld at all times.  Our service works 24 hours each day, 7 days each week, 365 days each year, all around an individual’s needs.

Next Stage has more recently taken our services to those who have Learning Disability and ABI conditions, our models of promoting independence and re-ablement have been very successful.  Individuals who previously have lived in care for many years are now enjoying unsupported time and their own tenancies for the first time in their lives.

Our Care Quality Commission approved services are regularly audited to ensure that the quality of our services are not only maintained but continue to develop and improve. We have a dedicated ‘Quality Assurance Team’ whose role is to continually drive improved performance forward.

We are registered with the UK Home Care Association and more recently have requested RDB undertake an assessment of our service to gain their Star Approval.

We are committed to the following principles for all who access our service:

  • Be Healthy
  • Stay Safe and Secure
  • Enjoy and Achieve
  • Making a Positive Contribution
  • Economic Wellbeing
  • Right to Independence
  • Personalisation

Our Service Users are at the centre of all we do and they play a key role in the running and development of this service.
