Accommodation

While Next Stage doesn’t directly manage property or accommodation, we understand that this is an integral part of our service and often the key to any Care or Support package, the location and quality of that accommodation can be the key to a successful placement.

Therefore Next Stage works in partnership with Fortunatus, a charity dedicated to providing quality accommodation for vulnerable adults.

We can happily receive the referral here through Next Stage, whereby we will then work with Fortunatus around what we can do and provide. This usually involves a meeting and or an assessment by Fortunatus to understand what an individual’s needs might be.

Typically though, accommodation of a high standard and quality can be sourced and made available within 1-4 weeks.

Next Stage does not work on the basis of having vacancies, we build each placement and support package around the individual. Fortunatus help us with this in providing the right home in the right area, ready kitted out with furniture and all essential items, right down to the bedding!

Fortunatus provide ongoing support around the tenancy along with a care and repair service 24 hours each day, 7 days each, 365 days each year.

Remember everyone is entitled to their own home and tenancy!
